OPTIMIST-A Trial: Minimally-invasive Surfactant Therapy in Preterm Infants 25-28 Weeks Gestation on CPAP

What is the purpose of this trial?

To evaluate in a randomized controlled trial the efficacy of surfactant delivery via a minimally invasive technique in preterm infants 25-28 weeks gestation with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) treated with NCPAP/NIPPV.
